Mission, Outreach and Congregational Care
We are a community of believers that care about each other. We provide rides and meals to those in need. We serve communion to the homebound. Besides taking care of our own we also reach out to those in the community. Providing care and support to those among us and around us through fellowship, friendship, and acts of compassion is what Jesus calls us to do.

This is a church active in the world that cares about making a difference and seeks to demonstrate how God's love can change lives.
Third Presbyterian Church has a designated mission project each month which is headed up by the Presbyterian women. This includes collecting items for those in need such as: blankets for the homeless, food for migrant farm workers and seasonal agriculture Workers on the Eastern Shore, suitcases for the women's shelter, sandwiches for St. Columba, helping VA vets in Hampton Roads, assisting Afghan refugee efforts with Massanetta Springs and helping other local Norfolk churches with NEST and outreach projects.

In the last few years we have added the Clothes Closet, and a Lending Library Box and Food Pantry Box out front of the church for those in need.
